More Music too mostly because a new stage will be set up to celebrate the worldly famous « fête de la musique » that will exceptionally last 2 days at the Parc Floral. This will enable us to have three groups in total for June 21st and June 22nd…music almost all day inclusive of the animations.

More Discoveries through the young talents that sometimes do not have the opportunity to play in big jazz festivals. Talents such as « The New Master Sound », a young gifted English band overflowing with groove; or with the week end devoted to European Musicians with artists that are stars in their own countries but whose reputation have not always crossed borders. A great opportunity to come and listen to « something else », to open your ears up to the diversity of the « old Europe ». You will also discover young talents that show their differences in music like the subtle and sweet melodies of Ousman Danedjo who will present his first album called « ENELMEDIO ». Another good example is « Tumi and the Volume », striking blend of Jazz and Hip Hop from South Africa.

And finally More stars in our last week end which will feature a large selection of brilliant and widely renowned Artists…. Attention ! Different styles for different folks with David Murray, Stefano Di Battsista, the SF Jazz Collective (with Joe Lovano, Dave Douglas, Robin  Eubanks & Miguel Zenon) or the brilliant Steve Coleman.
Also on the marquee, the fabulous Dianne Reeves, the energetic Erik Truffaz, the groove from Benin of Angélique Kidjo, and the warmth of the bass of master Henri Texier…

As usual, we will offer a blend of styles, a blend of horizons, a blend of sensations, highlighting all the diversities of Jazz, for the greatest listening pleasure of the audience of the great Parc Floral event !
