For this new edition of the Paris Jazz Festival, the 15th, which is the age of maturity, we wish to stress on the respect Nature. It is, after all, only a matter of getting into the right habits… or of getting out of the wrong ones!
Through a more responsible behaviour, we should indeed take the necessary actions in order to respect our environment. By separating our daily wastes, for instance, we can significantly reduce the amount of waste to destroy or manage. |

This year, we will especially collect all plastic bottle caps. We will give them all to the association "Bouchons d'Amour", who recycles the plastic from the caps, making wheelchairs out of it! Bring us your caps, it won't cost anybody anything, but it could yield a lot!!!

In addition to that, we will of course invite you to use the waste separation containers at your disposal all around the park. It is true that you will sometimes have to make e few additional steps to reach them, but what would we not do for our dear Lady Nature? Otherwise, you can always bring your own trashes with you when you leave and thus actively help to preserve this wonderful place.

We all know it: the natural resources diminish, becoming poorer and poorer everyday. Climate is warming; the air and Nature are polluted daily. It is therefore necessary that each and everyone of us change in order to respect the environment better. We can all contribute, through little simple daily actions and efforts…

The Paris Jazz Festival 2008 wish to actively participate to the collective consciousness-raising of this individual responsibility: the one of sustainable development and behaviour.
